Preserve the Past: Community History Event in Niagara Falls

Do you have family treasures tucked away in a box, drawer, or attic? Maybe an old photo album, a bundle of letters, or a stack of postcards from decades past? Each of these items holds a piece of our shared story, and now you have a chance to share it.

On Saturday, August 24 from 1 to 4 PM, the Heritage Team Real Estate Office at 1517 Main Street, Niagara Falls, NY will welcome the community for a special event dedicated to preserving local history.

Share Your Story

Local history experts and organizations will be on hand to help you discover how your personal keepsakes connect to the broader history of Niagara Falls and surrounding communities. They will also share tips on how to preserve these valuable pieces for future generations.

Bring items such as old photographs, letters, postcards, journals, flyers, posters, maps, blueprints, recipes, oral histories, yearbooks, newspaper clippings, and videos. If it tells a story, we want to see it.

Enjoy and Connect

While you browse and share, enjoy refreshments generously provided by 777 Food Bazaar and DiCamillo Bakery. It is a perfect opportunity to connect with fellow residents, learn something new about our history, and ensure your treasures are cared for properly.
