Remembering Our Past to Shape our Future

An Oral History Project of the Niagara Falls National Heritage Area
The Niagara Falls National Heritage Area (NFNHA) and Blue Cardinal Capital are excited to announce the launch of a multimedia oral history project to document life in the North End of the City of Niagara Falls, New York.

The NFNHA is seeking to collect and preserve memories of life on Main Street to inform the historic preservation and future development of the city’s North End.

Do you have a story, a photo, a video, or other kind of contribution to our oral history project? The history of Main St. is best told by members of the community that lived there, visited the stores, visited the restaurants, and took the photos!

An oral history project like this depends entirely on the folks that can tell the stories, share the memories, and help us understand the past and the present, as we look to the future.
